Grandfield Oklahoma
Listen to this utterly astounding saga, torn from the pages of the fascinating American Frontier and the Great Plains! Aid in bringing the plight of Small Town America into the light of public awareness! Take part in letting our elected Local, State, and Federal Representatives know where their voting constituency resides. Help get funding for our Schools and Teachers, Volunteer Fire and Police Departments, and Crumbling Infrastructures. Grandfield may be unique in its astonishing history, but we share much with all of Small-Town America. Forgotten is a kind way of describing the neglect we all now suffer. Become a member and let your voice be heard! There is a closed cafe, theater, pool hall, filling station, among a hundred other business types in nearly every small town across this great land. One voice, one town crying out may not be heard, but let us all yell together, in unison, and change is inevitable.
Grandfield Oklahoma, "Hub of the Big Pasture", has an awesome past, full of Cowboys & Indians, Outlaws & In-laws, Feuds, and Oil Barons, all coming to center stage right here on these pages. Join us, won't you?

Trying an experiment, so feedback is welcome. This video contains images of Oklahoma ghost towns, some which remain in some fashion, if only as old foundations. Others have been completely lost to time with nothing but photos to show they ever existed. The dates shown are the dates the town had an active post office. Many would have lingered beyond the closing of the post office. Music: Be still by The FrayEntertainment
